Blessing Others

If you are in a position to bless others…do it right away!

Blessing others is one way God answers their prayers and

The word of God tells you to do it:

Proverbs 3:27: “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so.”

If you don’t do it immediately, then you might start to question if they DESERVE to be blessed (if you’re like me, there was no “might”about it, I questioned.)

This type of questioning isn’t in line with who God has called you to be and it is not your place to ask that question.

This type of questioning put me in a position to judge others… which I KNOW I am not supposed to do!

I did it anyway…

I was in a position to bless someone in a higher position at work.

Because I failed to do so immediately…

I did the very thing I’m telling you not to do…

I opened the door for Satan and started questioning if they had done “enough” to deserve the blessing and…

Of course the answer I came up with was:

“No, they hadn’t!”

So I started thinking of who did deserve the blessing…

Who I could give the credit to.

Blessfully, God got ahold of me!

I very clearly heard Him say;

“You are not deserving of the blessing I’ve given you.” (Head hung down in shame…”That’s true Father.”)

“Yet, I’ve chosen to bless you.” (head still down “Thank You Father.”) speaks about the gift of God, one of the blessings He has given me that I didn’t deserve.

“You are not to question who I’ve chosen to bless THROUGH you,” (crying now, “I’m so sorry Father!”)

Job 38:4-Job 40:2 tells why I should never question God:

“Nor are you to put yourself in a position of authority over Me.” (sobbing now, “Oh Father, please forgive my disrespect and audacity!”)

He forgave me, and I learned my lesson!

I pray this post helps you when you find yourself in a position to bless others!

That you will make the decision to honor God and His will, rather than question it as I did.

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
