Day 43: The Weigh-in

October 19, 2021: First day home from vacation. Time to weigh-in!

Total weight lost to date: 13.4 pounds

Yep, I gained 6.4 pounds on vacation! This was NOT a fun weigh-in!

I really thought I did better than this-delussional thinking much? (Just wait until you see what I ate yesterday then you’ll understand this comment lol!)

I’m not freaking out about it though, I’ll lose it.

It is disheartening, because I feel like I took two steps forward, and four steps back.

I haven’t weighed this much in three plus weeks 🙁

But…

I know that if I get down about it, it’ll make it more difficult for me to lose the weight, so I’m not going to set myself up like that.

No comfort eating for this girl!

We got home late last night from our unexpected road trip (remember our plot twist?)

Remember how I told you it’s important to maintain a positive attitude?

Here’s a video from late last night (tongue in cheek)

Husband got us all home safe and sound though, he’s a great driver!

I also went off program yesterday. (Might that have contributed to my 6.4 weight gain? lol)

I could’ve followed Optavia as I still had lots of fuelings left, but those M & M’s were calling my name way louder than the boiled egg was!

So were chips, pizza, Reece’s, Snickers, what I call fu-fu coffees, french fries, a Big Mac, more chips, leftover pizza slices, and a Butterfinger.

Don’t judge me, it was a road trip! lol

Not regretting, just regrouping going on over here!

My dinner picture:

See, your girl is back on program!

Wait, I made a video for you!

Day one back on program in the books!

Good night Optavia familia!

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
