Day 47: Blah No More

October 23, 2021: Today is a new day and I am blah no more!

This morning, doing bible study with husband we studied about joy and how it’s not an emotion as much as it is a by-product of knowing Jesus.

Satan used my lack of joy yesterday to try to steal today’s joy.

It didn’t work!

The only thing Satan did was remind me who I am and Whose I am-haha, take that puny devil!

I can’t write those words without seeing the scene from the movie Avengers where Hulk smashes Loki over and over lol:

You’re welcome lol

I’m so happy to be blah no more!

I am celebrating my weight loss and eagerly anticipating meeting my next goal of getting under 200 pounds.

I don’t care if the scale says I weigh 199.9 as long as it holds lol.

I remember posting about the importance of celebrating not just our accomplishments, but our efforts as well, yet I’ve celebrated neither of them lol. (Mask of Hypocrisy)

I’ve been sitting here thinking “What can I do to celebrate?”

I kid you not, the only things that came to my mind involved fast food and Grub Hub delivery service lol.

Will my inner Fatty never stop? (Probably not, especially since I just came off a binge session…keeps her hopeful that another one is right around the corner! lol)

Speaking about weights, here’s my weigh-in picture for today:

Total weight lost to date: 22.6 pounds!

Ok, so back to celebrating…I still have nothing, ok, google here I come!

More than the author’s 15 suggestions, I like’d her introduction! As it really hit home with me just how ingrained it is in me to automatically associate celebrating with food!

Well…I’m going to read one of my old journals that I wrote when I was a new Christian.

Yes, that counts! Reading them allows me to see how far I’ve come in terms of my relationship with Father, which motivates me because of how far I’ve come (lol) to keep on keeping on.

I can also put my feet into my foot massager/heat thingy while I read…there am I celebrating now? 🙂

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
