Day 76: Taking A Day Off

November 21, 2021: Taking a day off to relax is important when trying to lose weight, when wanting to retain one’s sanity and to refill for the upcoming demands next week will bring.

Sunday is that day for me!

I worship my Father, I stay away from my computer, and I relax with my husband.

I watch baking competitions and Pure Flix movies.

I play poker on WPT when husband watches football (I no longer watch football due to the players taking a knee during the National Anthem)

And your girl does fairly well:

Your girl’s got skills! lol

I enjoy playing poker and like WPT says: “Never lose a dime playing poker!”

(It’s a monthly subscription thing)

I read my Joel Osteen books I get from the library, here’s my newest one:

It’s not enough to fuel your body, you need to put good stuff in your mind as well!

An entire week of stressors can take a toll on my mind, so I make sure I “refuel” with positive stuff and who is more positive than Joel Osteen?

Besides Joyce Myer, I mean.

I always spend time reading her “Promises for Your Everyday Life” daily devotional study.

I’ve posted the link before, but here it is again:

No matter how many times I re-read the daily posts, I always get something new out of it!

On Sundays I rest, relax, worship God (as that is NEVER a chore), read, play poker, enjoy my husband, and if it’s workout day, I get it done:

Every other day or me procrastinating can make Sunday a workout day, but I get the hydro-massage bed, so I don’t mind lol

Needless to say, Sundays are my favorite week days!

What day is your favorite day of the week?

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
