Day 25: Setting Goals

October 1, 2021: Setting goals for my weight loss journey wasn’t something I had thought about up to this point.

Perhaps because setting goals made my committment more real and Fatty was in my head whispering that I was going to fail so why make any goals?

She’s so hateful and mean!

But, I have been hoping I will lose 20 pounds by the time I hit my one-month mark!

And….

I think I have a real chance at it:

Weight lost to date: 19.2 pounds!

.8 more pounds to go (half a pound, and I’m there!) and I have six more days to do it in!

Creating weight loss goals are important, when you are ready to set them.

You have to make them realistic, obtainable, and then you have to celebrate once you reach them!

I researched (of course I did!) and found a great article by Mayo clinic:

Drop a comment below and tell me what your weight loss goals are!

I really liked process goals as they are action-oriented and therefore, helpful!

I think I accidentally created a process goal when I added in going to the gym.

Choosing Optavia was a unintentional process goal as well!

Can I make any process goals on purpose? lol

Your girl kicked butt today!

And…

nearly died in the process (just kidding)

Hurts so good!

Spotlight Fueling:

Sounds so good, but are they?

Texture is good, taste is not like any buttermilk biscuit I’ve ever had before, (probably due in part to it not being slathered in butter and honey!)

But…

if you add white onions (yes, Fatty is STILL on that kick!) and zero-everything spray butter you’ll have something you can work with.

I went to Goodwill today to see if I could find any costume jewlery to match my beautiful God-given formal dresses, but found a little monster named Joshua instead:

He put this costume together, how creative!
