Day 4: Detoxing

Update of Fatty September 10, 2021 Day Four: Detoxing?

My Optavia coach texted me today to see how I’m doing.

I really wanted to tell her! I really wanted to just let her have it!

I wanted to scream at her for not telling me it was going to be this rough, suck this much!

But, I didn’t.

I did tell her the food sucks… badly!

She said “You’re detoxing.”

I thought “Detoxing from Meth couldn’t suck this much!”

She assured me “It will get better.”

Fatty said; “She’s a liar!”

My only saving grace comes from my husband who cooks us great dinners with the Ninja foodi (no “e”) XL grill.

Best protein cooker ever!

With all my complaining the last few days, I forgot to tell you about the best part of this program!

Every day I get 5, 6, or 7 ounces of meat (depending on the meat) and 3 servings of “greens” AKA vegetables.

So far, husband has made me:

Day Two: Chicken 6 ounces, 3 cups of lettuce with Balsamic Vinaigrette fat-free, calorie-free, carb 1 salad dressing.

Even the name is encouraging!

Day Four: Pork chops 6 ounces 1/2 cup of mushrooms (with spray butter-shh, don’t tell!)

Unapproved condiment.

Day One and Three: I had already cooked Salmon 5 ounces (husband was out of town for work), 1 1/2 cups of cauliflower (I added spraybutter-not approved, but I did it anyway! on day one) and 1/2 cup of white mushrooms…again I added spray butter 🙂

Oh, and I get to choose from a list of six items that I can have (one per day). I choose 3 pieces of sugar-free gum…sad, I know.

Something has to give, maybe this isn’t the program for me…

Overview of my day:

Thanks Fitbit! I didn’t realize I had done so good today!

Tune in tomorrow to see if I continue with Optavia…..or to see if Fatty wins:
