Day 13: I Climbed a Tree

September 19, 2021 Day Thirteen: Today I took my baby grands to the park and I climbed a tree!

Age does not limit me!

I pushed them on the swings, I slid down a slide (yes I fit!)

I tried on a pair of pants I couldn’t fit before and guess what?

They fit now!
I will not be wearing them out in public just yet lol

I forgot to get a picture of my weigh-in this morning, but my current weight is:

233.0 total weight lost to date: 13.6 pounds πŸ™‚

When I told you I climbed a tree…

I may have forgotten to add….that I got stuck in that tree lol

Isn’t my son handsome! My hero πŸ™‚

Now that you’ve had a good laugh…

Optavia is a great program that is working!

But…it’s still something that sucks (ALL weight loss programs have an element of suckiness because they require sacrifice and discipline.)

It’s important to make something that sucks, suck less if possible.

I researched how to make things hards things fun and I found a great article for you!

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/may-i-have-your-attention/201612/9-ways-make-almost-any-task-fun

The article discusses ways 9 ways you can make something that sucks, suck less.

For example, doing the dishes while listening to your favorite music station…

Or finding someone to swap fuelings with so that you aren’t out money or stuck with fuelings you don’t want to eat ( number 6 in the article).

A friend from church is doing Optavia and we swapped fuelings.

I hate the shakes, she likes them. So we swapped and these pancakes are very good!

I suggest you try to find someone in your town who is doing Optavia so that you can trade your least favorite fuelings for different ones.

Also, you could trade clothes because you will lose weight quickly so purchasing clothes could get expensive!

Today’s Spot Light Fueling:

These are the bomb!

Dinner tonight: (yes, husband is home lol)

Pork loin and cauliflower

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
