Day 14: Keeping Your Fatty Happy

September 20, 2021 Day Fourteen: Hey guys! How are you doing on your weight loss journey? Check in with me. I want to also know if you have figured out how to keep your Fatty happy!

Drop a comment and let me know how it’s going!

Some have inquired about my work outs and since I’ve been posting them (without providing any information.)

I figured it was high -time to share some things with you about my work outs!

Work out summary

If you are wondering about my workouts, know this:

  1. I reward Fatty with a hydromassage after EVERY workout
  2. I reward Fatty with tanning after every other workout
  3. I spend more time rewarding Fatty than I do actually working out lol
  4. If you are trying to do exactly what I do, focus either on hitting the same number of calories or the same amount of time. Not both!
  5. I trick Fatty into thinking we aren’t working that hard by using a slower speed but using the incline! As long as we are walking semi-slow Fatty doesn’t seem to mind that it’s up-hill walking πŸ˜‰

That being said, keeping your Fatty happy is extremely important in being able to continue Optavia or any other weight loss program for that matter!

Never underestimate the power of your Fatty!

Besides, if you are keeping your Fatty happy (with healthy rewards), you’re engaging in self-care, which is vitally important to you weight loss journey!

Out of the self-care articles I researched for you (you’re welcome!) I like this one the best:

https://www.activeminds.org/about-mental-health/self-care/

If you spend most of your day caring for others or working, you are probably going to have to schedule self-care into your day.

Allow Fatty to guard and protect that alloted time for self-care, she’s fiercely protective of self-care AKA rewards for Fatty. πŸ™‚

Dinner tonight: (yes husband is home lol)

Dinner already took a bite out of it!

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
