Day 20: Support System

September 26, 2021: Day Twenty My support system, a Blessing named Tara: I reached out to Tara because my weight loss has stalled and I’m freaked out about it. She joined my support system without hesitation!

Total weight lost to date: 17.2 pounds

Support from a friend

Tara reassured me this is normal and that I got this.

This weight loss post may cross over into a life with God post because He knew exactly what I needed.

He sent me Tara!

See she’s a real girl, not a made up entitiy like Fatty, and she’s BEAUTIFUL inside and out!

A Support System includes:

Someone who can inspire and encourage you. Tara is that person and more. She is such an inspiration to me! She is encouraging and used mightily by God. (That is the highest compliment I know how to give!)

She talked to me about our bodies needing to “reset” and that made sense to me.

More importantly, it quieted Fatty who you know was already starting in on me!

Fatty: “See, it’s because you added extra Equal to your coffee, and the lemon packets to our water, and I’m not drinking water without it, so…guess we’re done here.”

Tara is eight weeks into Optavia so she knows what I’m going through and that’s invaluable to me!

It’s also what I hope to be to you! https://coach.optavia.com/Raynee (shameless plug I know lol.)

Tara is also the one who traded me for the amazing chocolate chip pancakes-how can I NOT love this woman?

I pray God sends you someone who can encourage and inspire you!

Someone who can calm your inner Fatty when the scale is moving in the wrong direction.

A support system is one of the greatest blessings you will ever be given!

I’ve got an article to prove it! πŸ™‚

I prayed for Tara, well, not her specifically. I prayed for God to bring into my life a group of women that I can pour into, who can pour into me.

Tara’s the first of hopefully many! And an AMAZING first I might add!

Spot Light Fueling:

This is also one Tara traded me for!

So this one is not one of my favorites. It smelled horrible when I microwaved it and almost got booted out of my mom’s house because of the smell.

I call drama! I didn’t think it smelled that bad.

Teture is good, taste is…going to be one I have to get used to πŸ™‚

BUT, I got used to a lot of “fuelings” I didn’t think I could get used to so… there’s that.

No picture of my dinner today as I was hungry all day so I ate my protein through out the day; at 3 PM, then 4:16 PM, then 9 PM after 4640.

Pork loin (one of my favorites!) and Jalepenos. My tomataoes turned bad πŸ™ I think my body wanted protein, I didn’t even want to be bothered with veggies.

Note to self, when I am hungry, I need protien!

I took pictures today! Well, I had my brother, Roger take pictures of me today. He’s so awesome!

I think my thighs are smaller!

Here’s another one!

Nope, there the thighs are! Like my glasses?

Have a great day guys! See you tomorrow πŸ™‚

Person of Honor

Hi! I'm Raynee. I am a Christian, a licensed professional counselor, a wife to a husband I do not deserve-cause he's so wonderful, a mother of two amazing adult children I couldn't be more proud of, and a grandmother AKA Mimi of seven absolutely adorable grandbabies. I am also an Optivia coach, a writer, a speaker, and most importantly (second to being a Christian that is) I am a woman of integrity and honor.
